A gorgeous day...

Yet I really needed to study. So here's what's keeping me going (besides my motivation to succeed)

Study break!

For kicks and giggles :-)

Fun song tidbit to get folks talking (or going nuts counting)... How many times do they sing, "Na na na na na..." at the end?

Yeah, I know the answer :-)

Yeah I'm a day late...

Had to think about Day 6...a song that reminds tou of somewhere. A county fair in rural bfe Maryland. My best friend and I were 15 and none of the midway attractions interested us, admission price included an Exile concert and we were in the first row, got our tix autographed- good times.

For my family reading this, no it wasn't the AlCo fair.

Day 5...

Is a song that reminds you of someone. My sister told me about this one when we were with our aunt last year :-) I crack up every time I hear it. Love you both!

Day 4...

I'm skipping it but the song for today is one that makes you sad...too much going on to get caught up in that downward spiral.

Day 3

Of the 30 Day Song Challenge is a song that makes you happy. Every time I hear this song it takes me back to the times I saw them play this live- truly amazing and the energy coming from the stage was so powerful, plus not an ego to be found...Would love for my favorite band to do a reunion tour! Also, the high E notes in the intro used to drive my last cat bonkers :-P (I'm referring to Sarge for my friends and family reading this)

Today is Day 2 of the 30 Day Song Challenge, which asks for your least favorite song.  Tough call on this one, since if I don't like a song I just won't listen to it. So I'm going for a song that I don't like hearing when I'm faced with a challenge because it means that I have to deal with what's right in front of me at any given moment. A beautiful song, I like the version Billy Valentine did for Sons of Anarchy.

Blog name inspiration...

Watch "Dobie Gray - Drift Away (1973)" on YouTube
See the post below :-)

I just realized that this song also fits with the first day of the 30 Day Song Challenge, Day 1 being your favorite song... Not only is it the inspiration for my blog's name, it kicked off the challenge :-)

What's your favorite song?
